Payroll accounting is handled in the Payroll Accounting section. The admin can perform payroll manually for individual employees. Alternatively, multi-payroll processing is available for all employees who have the "Multi-payroll accounting" option enabled in their master data.
"Multi-payroll processing" (or multi-payroll accounting) means that payroll can be calculated and processed for multiple employees at the same time, instead of doing it one by one.
1. Listing
There are two types of listings in the payroll section:

General Employee Listing
– This shows all active employees by default.
– However, the admin can choose to display all employees, including inactive ones if needed. -
Multi-payroll Listing (or multi-settlement list)
– This specifically shows employees who have "Multi-payroll accounting" activated in their master data.
– These are the employees included when the admin runs payroll in bulk.
🔹 Manually Creating a Payroll Run (for One Employee)

Find the Employee – Search for the employee using the search bar.

Open Payroll Dialog – Click the calendar icon beside the employee’s name.

Pick a Month – Choose the payroll month you want to generate.

Create Payroll – Click "Create Payroll." The system checks if a payroll already exists.

If Payroll Exists – You’ll see a warning message with 3 options:

Cancel
-
View the existing payroll

Delete it and create a new one

Next Step After Viewing – What action comes after displaying the payroll? Is there a confirmation or approval button? (To be clarified)

🔹 Creating a Payroll Run for Multiple Employees
Click on "New multi payroll run" to start.

Select Payroll Month – Choose the month you want to bill.

Choose Staff Type – Pick either Temporary Staff or Employees.

Create Payrolls – Click "Create multi payroll" to generate the payrolls.
The system will list the generated payrolls. A PDF is also created containing all payrolls, so the admin can print everything in one go.

2. Calculations & contents of a statement
When a payroll run is carried out, a number of things are evaluated and calculated in the background. This happens according to a fixed procedure which is different for temporary staff than for salaried employees.
