Admin Panel : Setting up Location Centers
1. Create a Location Center
Go to Location Finder > Location, click on "Create" :
Fill in all the fields required in the form :
- Name : This is the name of your location center
- Location : Name of person-in-charge of the Location center.
- Country, city, street, house number : Fill in the address of the Location center
- Postcode : This is the Postal Code of the Location Center, used by Search tool later.
- Phone number, email : Fill in accordingly
- Status : Set the status of Location Center to Active/Inactive.
- Categories : These are the course's categories, Admin may assign multiple categories to the Location Center.
- Subpage URL : The URL which "More info" button would link to.
- Map code : Enter the Map Embed code from google map, and this will be shown on the :/location-content page.
- Select Image : Upload an image that represents your Location Center
Click "Submit" and a new Location Center is created.
Note: These location centers are synced with Ark-M > Centers > Edit > Location tab. Any changes made by the System Admin — such as adding or editing a location center — will be reflected here automatically, and vice versa.
And on this Location page, you will find listing of all the Location Centers created, under this center.
Note: Location center name displayed below is dummy content.
2. Setting up Categories
Go to Location finder > Categories, click "Create"
- Name : Create a category with this name.
- Image : Upload an image that representing this category. Note: image will be used in the Location-content page.
Click "Submit" and a new category is created.
Note: These categories are the same as the ones in Courseplan — the data is synced between both.
3. Creating Location Centers' content page
If a center has subscribed to Location Finder module, he needs to create these 2 pages manually in Ark-Site.
