Overview

The Member Area section in ARK Management (ARK-M) allows authorized Admin users to manage shared configurations and content templates for the Member Area across multiple ARK Sites.

Configurations and templates maintained in ARK-M can be made available to individual centres, providing a centralized way to manage Member Area content while allowing centres to manage their own content through ARK Site.

1. Members

The Members page provides an overview of users who have joined the Member Area through ARK Sites belonging to the same client.

This allows authorized Admin users to view Member Area users across the client's centres from one central location.

2. Roles and Member Status

These settings define the roles and statuses available within the Member Area.

Setting Description
Roles Allows authorized Admin users to manage Member Area roles. Configured roles become available when assigning a role to a user in ARK Site.
Member Status Allows authorized Admin users to manage the statuses available in Member Area status fields on ARK Site.

3. Categories

Categories are used to classify centrally created Knowledge and Tips of the Week content templates.

When creating content templates in ARK-M, Admin can assign the relevant category to organize and identify the content.

4. Program Templates

Program Templates allow Admin to create reusable Programme content centrally and make it available to selected centres.

When creating a template, Admin can configure its content, availability, pricing, and eligible Member Area roles.

Templates can be assigned to specific Center Groups and Countries. Admin can also define which fields Center Admin is permitted to edit.

When creating a Programme in ARK Site, Center Admin can select an available template instead of creating the Programme from scratch.

5. Tips of the Week

ARK-M allows Admin to centrally create and maintain default Tips of the Week content for centres.

The content includes regular 52-week tips and 12-week tips for new Members.

Centres can import these default tips into their ARK Sites and customize the content where necessary.

Content Updates and Synchronization

The following rules apply when centrally maintained tips are updated:

  • Tips that have not been modified by the centre can receive content updates from ARK-M.

  • Tips that have already been modified by the centre will not be overwritten by subsequent ARK-M content updates.

  • Changes to Center Group or Week of the Year to Display in ARK-M do not affect tips already imported into an activated ARK Site.

Email Settings

Admin can configure the default email subject and content used for weekly Tips of the Week notifications, including placeholders for member, centre, and tip information.

6. Knowledge Templates

The Knowledge section allows Admin to create and maintain reusable Knowledge articles centrally.

Knowledge templates can be assigned to specific Center Groups and categorized according to their content.

Knowledge templates are not automatically published to the Member Area. Center Admin must import the selected templates through ARK Site before they become available in the centre's Member Area.

7. FAQ

The FAQ feature allows Admin to maintain help content for the Member Area.

FAQs are organized into categories and can include questions, answers, and supporting YouTube videos.

The configured FAQ content is made available through the ARK Site Admin Panel to provide guidance to Center Admin users.
